In Greek mythology, Terpsichore "delight in dancing" stands as one of the nine Muses and the goddess of dance and chorus. Born from her name is the word "terpsichorean," which translates to "of or relating to dance." She is typically depicted sitting down, holding a lyre, and accompanying ballerinas' choirs with her music. Her name originates from the Greek words for "delight" and "dance." Additionally, she serves as the Mother of the sirens and Parthenope. This object belongs to "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory.
