A termopar, also referred to as a thermocouple, is a temperature-measuring device that utilizes the Seebeck effect to generate a voltage proportional to the temperature difference between two junctions. This electrical signal can be used to determine the temperature of the environment or material surrounding the thermocouple. Both terms, termopar and thermocouple, essentially refer to the same device with varying nomenclature in different fields.
