Terminator Shoulders
thingiverse
Work on endoskeleton accelerates. Torso takes shape in meshmixer, with complete files serving as temporary stand-ins until a more comprehensive version can be uploaded. To prevent files from becoming unwieldy, pistons will be uploaded separately when finished. A full-scale print of the endoskeleton has yet to occur, aside from armConnector and pins, which were printed as test pieces. Pins proved oversized, necessitating sanding to achieve a proper fit – a cautionary tale that came at the cost of a squished screw hole, courtesy of an overzealous heat gun. The armConnector features two 4mm screw holes for attaching the arm to main2, allowing for rotational pinning. Current plans call for pistons to anchor shoulder movement at the spine. SpineTop may require alterations to accommodate neck attachment when that stage is reached. Shoulders are divided into three parts, facilitating separate prints with varying infill percentages. Complete and meshmixer files have been included, and any questions are welcome.
