These mounting plates are designed for use with either 12-pole or 4-pole terminal strips, a combination that has served me well over several years of various builds. Currently, I'm using one on an OX CNC machine being built for dual purposes: 3D printing and CNC routing. The terminal strip attaches to the plate via 3mm bolts, with the nuts situated between the screw guards. It's worth noting that in some cases, the spacing may vary slightly and the outer hole locations might differ slightly as well.
