The proposed heat reservoir makes use of a phase change material rather than an electrical system, offering several benefits.\nThe container consists of low-cost polypropylene that's been filled with one of four specific compounds: petrolatum, calcium chloride hexahydrate, sodium sulfate decahydrate or sodium carbonate decahydrate. Each compound has a melting point between 29 and 33 degrees celsius.\nCovering the container is a flexible insulating material like polyethylene foam.\nThe application process involves introducing the container into a 1000 W microwave oven for 1 minute and 40 seconds, at which point it reaches approximately 30 degrees celsius. Following this step, position it above a can of polyurethane foam.\nThe proposed system ensures no overheating occurs during use, making it safe to employ, easy on the wallet and effortless to clean.
