This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/gew6QDP7pAX

This gauge pod is for use in a 5th generation Toyota Tercel. May fit other generations/models. (Mine is a 1998. Please ignore the crap-tastic windshield.)

Designed to replace the clock in the centre of the dashboard, and hold a 52mm guage. I am using it to hold a small tachometer. The center hole can be enlarged to hold up to a 76mm (3" gauge if desired.

I made an error for the one that I printed in the photo, the gauge hole is sitting below centre. I originally sized it for a larger gauge, but I had a 52mm/2" tachometer sitting on the bench in my garage, and decided that it was good enough.

Oct 31, 2018: Added a dual pod version, but I have not yet printed/tested this, so should be treated as beta at best. This reduces to 2 screws holding the pod together.

Print Settings

Printer:

Lead Screw

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2mm

Infill:

40%

Filament:
iPrint3D PETg
Black

Notes:

3 solid layers top/bottom.
