TenTec PTO rear cover
thingiverse
This is a replacement rear cover for the PTO assembly on older TenTec amateur radio transceivers. When slicing, it will be necessary to position it on the work surface in such a manner that the side that goes into the PTO is facing up. This way it will attach nice and squarely so that the PTO will move smoothly. This print will require supports. I used concentric. You will need to clean up the shaft hole with a 1/8" drill bit for smooth operation. I created this part for use on my Delta 580 radio. It will likely fit most PTO equipped TenTecs such as early Omni A C and D, Triton, etc. I "fudged" the diameter of the protrusion into the PTO cavity a few Thou to compensate for a mild over-extrusion with my printer. I have included the Free Cad file in case you need to tweak the design for your radio or printer. I printer in PLA since it is very dimensionally stable and doesn't warp during printing.
