We absolutely love the [Tentacle Sync E Timecode Generator](https://www.lensrentals.com/rent/tentacle-sync-e-timecode-generator-w-bluetooth). It's a brilliant and forward-thinking approach to solving the long-standing problem of synchronizing timecode between cameras. We applaud their ingenuity! That being said, we wish they had provided a more substantial mounting system than the lightweight Velcro that comes with it from the factory, so we created this adapter for 1/4"-20 screws. To use this adapter, you'll need to print it first, then install one of these threaded inserts; rest assured, no tools are required - simply press it in with a rigid flat surface (countertop, book, ruler, or even my head, etc). Next, remove the Velcro from the rear of the Tentacle Sync and attach this adapter using Krazy Glue. Alternatively, if you just want to expand your mounting options, add some Velcro to this adapter and attach it that way. A vital note: be aware that the Phillips-head screw visible on the rear of the device doesn't secure this mount - it actually holds the Tentacle Sync together. This design leaves the rear screw exposed for future service or repair.
