Summary The original model posted by jpacek is a real showstopper. Unfortunately, it was faulty in slic3r, so I employed meshlab to fix it and scale back the faces. I'm uncertain how well the tentacle tips will print on my printer, but I'll take a shot.... for Gunther's sake.
