Tenta-Kitty (Articulated)
thingiverse
I've been buying Tenta-Kitty plushes for years, and then I finally got my hands on a 3D printer, so it only made sense that I'd figure out a way to print one myself. Fortunately, finding a model wasn't hard, and after some fiddling around with Meshmixer, this was the result. My girlfriend absolutely loved it, and as you can see, she took the little guy on quite an adventure. The color change from natural to purple under UV light is especially awesome - it works great under a black light or in sunlight, but don't let it get too hot, because PLA melts easily! I'll add some more photos later showing off the full effect of the color change. This was just a test print, and I can see a few areas where it needs improvement - I'll have to play around with my settings and tweak them for better results next time.
