Well no matter how hard I tighten these things, they eventually fall off. This usually happens because the shower curtain is left to one side or another, making that side heavier. Or if you use heavier curtain rings, that's a problem too. This device is here to take up some of the weight. So after you tighten the rod as much as it will go, use some 3M stickers and stick one of these at each end flush with the rod.
