tension rod

thingiverse

It's a precision rod designed specifically for evaluating polymeric material characteristics. Its dimensions match those typically used in polymer testing. Since there is no established standard for testing 3D-printed components, I use this STL file to create all my test rods with 20 top layers (100% infill - not 100% infill setting). Additionally, I employ the optimal printer settings for achieving the best results on my test geometry, as showcased in my other creations. I operate at a print speed of 30 mm/s and layer height of 0.2 mm. When testing material properties, it's crucial to print a minimum of three tension rods for statistical reliability.
