Tension Rod 45 Degree Pool Lanai Bracket
thingiverse
We recently installed a pool and the enclosure's frame has a 45-degree angle on one side to avoid our well pump. To control sunlight throughout the day and give our lanai a warmer atmosphere, we decided to install tension rods and curtains around the lanai. However, this corner presented a challenge because the tension rods are designed for straight runs and the aluminum frame is also at a 45-degree angle. I created custom brackets and a center support to hold the rod over the distance and it's been working out great so far. To make adjustments, I simply removed one screw from each end that held the bracket in place and reinstalled them. While these custom brackets may not directly benefit others, they can inspire quick and easy problem-solving ideas. The tension rods we purchased were from Amazon; here is the link: https://amzn.to/34yaxcI
