I added a flexible filament guide that adjusts automatically to ensure smooth filament flow during long, unattended print jobs without worrying about the filament detaching from its roll. This guide relies on a precise tension nut, tightened securely in place by default - though adding an optional screw can offer additional reassurance if desired. The designed hole features two strategically positioned fillets, guaranteeing effortless filament passage while allowing for adaptability across various spool sizes and styles. For optimal results, users may insert a compact square of foam before the guide and gently push the filament through, leveraging its unique texture to effectively clean dust and particles from the filament's surface as it enters the extruder.
