This is an automated Tension Jigger that can eliminate excess slack and constrain rope or cord movement in one direction only. Initially developed to meet the needs of rock climbers, who sought a dependable method to absorb slack in their ropes and preserve tension within their lines, a more basic rubber band-activated replica has been created for household use.
