#studentdesignchallenge #Designed By Brendan Haran This is a simple pencil holder, perfect for any size pencils. When all of them are put in, they create an amazing spiral that is sure to amaze you. And, with the help of tensegrity, it appears as though it is floating! While designing this, the main problem that I had was making sure that the pencils didnt intersect with each other. If I could redesign this, I wouldn't change anything, because in my mind, it is perfect. Lastly, 3D Printing could help strengthen my design by being able to add more supportive features to it, to make sure it is as stable as possible. In a world, where pretty much everything we do during eLearning is take notes, i felt as though this is the most necessary thing to create, as you can always use another pencil. This is a simple print, only taking a few hours. (I don't have a 3D Printer, but I put the models into Ultimaker Cura and it would take about 7 hours, which is a pretty standard print time) This is an entry by Brendan Haran All you need to do to set up the Tensegrity Writing Utensil Holder is glue parts 3 and 4 to the slots on the bottom of parts 1 and 2. Then, tie strings from each of the corresponding holes. Make sure that they are pulled tight, or it will not work. #StudentDesignChallenge
