Tensegrity Table

This "Tensegrity Table" bears a striking resemblance to the "Floating Table Top". Measuring slightly smaller (W135xH125mm), this table distinguishes itself with only 3 to 1 opposite tension points, whereas the "Floating Table Top" relies on 4 to 1 opposite tension points for its integrity. Nylon thread (Ø 0.35mm) serves as the tension thread once more. Begin by connecting the scripture-parts with a distance of about 55mm. Next, insert the scripture-parts into the table top and the table foot into the provided holes. Ensure a snug fit by tightening the fitting accuracy. If necessary, fine-tune the fit using a cutter knife or sandpaper before applying superglue. The subsequent steps demand patience and persistence. A square timber serves as an auxiliary tool, where opposite parts are clamped in place with small screw clamps. Enjoy printing and assembling this project!
