Tensegrity no-supports table
thingiverse
This is another tensegrity table that creates an illusion of floating in mid-air, without any visible supports. Version 2 features a revised central support angle, shifted from 45° to 60° to enhance separation between the two faces. Print one table60A and one table60B, then lace them together with a connection linking the central pair to the three corners. Using two table60A models instead of one A and one B would compromise symmetry in the finished product. I've preserved the original 45° .stl file for reference, as seen in the attached photo of the print. Once fully assembled, I'll revisit this text and add photos to showcase the completed project. The initial print went smoothly, but I'm still experimenting with tying the connecting threads. The accompanying photo is a genuine print, albeit with only the central black thread tied in place; it's simply propped against the pink box while I work on securing the three corner threads.
