Tensegrity Mast
cults3d
This is three of the previous tensegral units, merged together to form a sturdy mast. Lacing it up proved to be a laborious process, and when securing the tension lines with glue, some slipped and now hang loose than I had hoped. The supports feature cutouts that enable you to stack them (each requires a slight rotation), then I applied a small amount of hot glue to each joint to secure everything in place for lacing. You don't need to connect every possible node, but some are crucial. I may create another one that is easier to assemble, as this one has proven to be quite challenging. https://youtu.be/NykOgomoQPY
