Tensegritty - floating table mini
thingiverse
I designed this tensegrity system, which consists of 4 interconnected components held together by tensioned strings. It was printed on my Anycubic i3 Mega S 3D printer. The joints between the bottom and top plates (tense_bottom & tense_bottom_c) and the arches (tense_top) are reinforced with glue for added stability. Feel free to explore the concept of tensegrity on Wikipedia, it's a fascinating topic. Alternatively, you can simplify the design by printing just one part twice, once for the top and bottom plates. I initially intended to use this as a display table for small items like plants, but it proved too fragile under weight. Now it serves as an art piece. If you have any questions or suggestions for improvements, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm eager to see what ideas you come up with!
