I'm attempting to convert this Alto C ocarina into a Tenor G, targeting a range of E4 to C6. This may not fit every hand perfectly, so I'll aim to shrink the fingerholes by undercutting them slightly more to improve that. The V3 sound sample is available here: https://youtu.be/YaNaFP12OAg. I've always wanted an ocarina with a deeper pitch than my current one, but purchasing another for $60 seemed unjustifiable when it would only offer about 4 notes lower. I'll probably still buy one in the future, but this will suffice until then. Version Notes • V3: This version is based on the Alto C's V17 model, scaled up and with inner walls thinned slightly more. The voicing was adjusted to fit the new size. This ocarina seems quite loud to me and requires a bit more breath than I expected. The high notes work, but they sound a bit airy.
