Add a lever onto the gripper's switch to simplify activating the tensioner with one hand. This modified grip reduces difficulty when extending or retracting the tool, especially helpful for users with limited dexterity in their feet due to injury or chronic condition. The included foot pedal proved insufficient to make switching easier, leading to a DIY solution by attaching a lever onto the existing switch. This new addition enables activation of the tensioner with only one hand. For implementation, start by removing two m3 screws from the existing assembly. Next, position the lever mount directly over the gripper's original switch. Secure it in place using 10mm m3 screws for mounting. The installation requires a slightly longer than standard m3 screw (more than 15mm long) to complete the task and allow for smooth functionality of the newly integrated feature.
