Tennisballshaped knob for tenniscourt fence
thingiverse
The handles of our tennis court fences are looking a bit bare these days since their knobs have vanished over time.\nSo I whipped up some new ones in the shape of tennis balls, and I'm pretty stoked about them!\nSpecial thanks to Heinz Spiess for sharing his code for those curved line details on the Openscad Forum.\nGive me a like before you grab this print!\nCheck out my blog at www.3Daybreaker.blogspot.com for more awesome stuff.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: Orca v4.0x\nRafts: No\nSupports: No\nResolution: 0.2mm\nNotes:\nThere's an extra support structure hidden in one of the halves, so be sure to break it out before you assemble the knob.\nI used a drill bit and pliers to clean up any debris - easy peasy!\nThe curved lines are adjustable, with version 4 being on the smaller side and version 5 looking more dramatic.\nYou might need to sand these down a bit to get them smooth.\nThe knobs screw right onto the M8 threads of your fence handles.\nI split the knob in two halves for easier assembly, and you'll need an M8 HEX nut that locks itself into place.\nJust apply some glue to the other half with CYANOxx - careful not to get any on your hands!\nDon't waste your time printing the mock-up; it's just for show.\nGive me a like before you collect this print!\nCheck out my blog at www.3Daybreaker.blogspot.com for more cool projects!
