Temporary Wire Clamp for Mechanical Testing
prusaprinters
When creating the mechanical systems for my orc skull, I wanted to be able to easily take everything apart for testing. This required something I could attach to the end of wires to stop them slipping down back the tubes they sat in. The only thing I could find close enough online was $9 per unit, which was crazy - so of course, the simpler and cheaper solution was to make and print them myself. These clamps have an external diameter of 11mm, an internal diameter of 4mm, and are designed to work with M3 nuts (hexagonal) and bolts. A hexagonal cut-out allows the nut to sit neatly in place and can be superglued in.
