Temporary shelf hook for face masks

Temporary shelf hook for face masks

I use face masks daily due to COVID-19 concerns. Following each wear, I sanitize the mask by spraying ethanol on it, allowing it to evaporate before storing or disposing of the mask. To prevent accidental contact with surrounding surfaces during this process, I've created a detachable hook that can be securely attached to any shelf or desk without causing damage. Since I'm not sure how long this pandemic will last, I don't want to use traditional wall hooks that could harm my furniture. Therefore, I designed the shelf hook to be temporarily fixed with an M6 screw, making it easy to remove when no longer needed. The mask is hung from a long M6 screw attached to a printed platform, allowing for both vertical and horizontal installation options. Two versions of this design exist - one for thicker shelves and another for thinner ones.
