Temporary Eyeglass Holders (Clips)
thingiverse
Hey folks! I created this because I can wear no type of PPE mask without my glasses falling off my face. The real staying power of my glasses comes from my ears, and when there's an elastic strap from a mask on top of them, the glasses come tumbling down onto a possibly clean/possibly deadly floor. These clips keep them from sliding down that much, allowing grocery shopping to not be horrible. I guess "not be as horrible" would be a better way of putting it. Features: Curved contour snaps onto most glasses. Through-hole allows for quick zip-tie securing in case of a loose or rattling fit. Vertical channel secures the zip tie so it doesn't scratch your head much. Note: These are designed for times when you have to make a quick trip to the store, have to bend down repeatedly, but temporarily. They're not meant to be worn for long periods. I tried wearing them as proof of concept and lasted a day and a half before they started irritating my ears. Don't hate me if they start scratching after a day! That said, they make grocery shopping tolerable! Huzzah!
