The Vancouver British Columbia Temple is a revered temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), serving as the seventh such facility in Canada and the first one in British Columbia. Announced on May 25, 2006, this magnificent temple stands proudly on a sprawling 10-acre site at 200 Street and 82 Avenue in Langley's picturesque suburbs. On August 4, 2007, a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony marked the official beginning of construction. A highly anticipated public open house took place from April 9 to 24, 2010, preceding the temple's dedication on May 2, 2010. Following its grand dedication, only active and worthy members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are permitted to enter this sacred LDS temple.
