Temple of Concordia
thingiverse
This is an exact replica of the Temple of Concordia located in Agrigento, Italy. To print the temple, use four STL files: BASE WITH SUPPORT. TEXT_EN. This file includes both the base and the central building, as seen in the accompanying photos. The lower part of the base displays the words "Temple of Concordia" surrounded by frames, creating an empty space to minimize material usage during printing. Eight fixing points for the column structure are printed on the upper part around the central building. The COLUMNS WITH FRAME file includes printing 34 columns and their accompanying frame. The four corner columns and another four columns have a hollow bottom to connect them to the base. The ROOF01 + ROOF02 files contain the two sides of the upper facade. An additional file, TEMPLE_FULL, contains all the temple's components in a single block at original size. However, I strongly advise against printing this large model due to the significant difficulty in removing any supports. Print recommendations are as follows: - BASE WITH SUPPORT TEXT_EN: No supports required. - COLUMNS WITH FRAME: Print upside down without supports. - ROOF01 + ROOF02: Use supports for optimal results. For this print, I used a PLA - WOOD filament, which provides a rough, opaque surface with small ripples after extrusion. This is ideal for simulating the temple's stone appearance. If you'd like to purchase the original *.skp file created in Sketchup, send me a message.
