Temple of a Snowshoeman
thingiverse
This model was created by a talented 4th grade student at Greater Gallatin United Way kidsLINK, where innovative young minds learn the art of 3D modeling and printing. In our engaging class, students master Blender, bringing their designs to life. Once they complete their models, we bring them to reality using a Makerbot Replicator 2. To build this impressive temple, the student drew inspiration from a photograph of the iconic Parthenon on the Athenian Acropolis in Greece, dedicated to the powerful goddess Athena. The student had to make strategic decisions about simplifying complex details to meet their project deadline and ensure printability. In my expert opinion, printing this model with 1.75 true white PLA filament would yield outstanding results. We printed it large enough to accommodate two flameless LED tealights, adding a touch of elegance to the finished product.
