With the base part, you can comfortably mark the basic shape and the neckline on the leather. The additional slot with two integrated holes serves one purpose: to precisely position the two round seam holes existing at the corners. At the same time, it allows for marking the line of the upper seam part. The smaller part is used to mark the cutout on the leather for the inlay. Its size is chosen so that it's larger than the outline of the seam line but smaller than the edge of the base part. This ensures the inlay gets exactly the right size to be sewn in, yet not visible at the edge. The third part is a small drop-shaped bar that gives the cutout for the key ring. This bar also serves to mark the area where no glue will be applied. I designed it using FreeCAD, and the files are included.
