This 3D model was originally designed using Sketchup 8 and later converted into all other 3D formats for maximum flexibility. Native file format is .skp, while the 3dsmax scene is rendered with Vray 3.00. The original BA 767 was created by WilliamT. First introduced in 1986 to Japan Airlines, the 767-300 boasts a distinctive stretched fuselage of 21.1 feet [6.43 m] extending over its 767-200 predecessor, which resulted from inserting additional sections before and after the wings, thus achieving an overall length of 180.25 feet {54.9 m}. Embracing growth potential inherent in the original 767 design, the 767-300 retains largely unchanged wings, engines, and most systems. A distinctive mid-cabin exit door on the left is positioned ahead of the wings as a unique feature. To increase capacity, more powerful Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and Rolls-Royce RB211 engines were later made available for upgrade. Capitalizing on its increased capacity, airlines utilize the 767-300 on high-density routes across Asia and Europe with great success. A total of 104 aircraft deliveries took place for this variant with no outstanding orders remaining at completion. By July 2012, 81 operational aircraft of this type were still in airline service. Primary competitor to the 767-300 was the popular Airbus A300.
