The 3D model was created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to other formats, with native format .skp being used for 3dsmax scenes in version 2016. The scene was rendered using Vray 3.00, courtesy of AirbusA330. Developed by reducing the A320, known also as the A320M-7, the A319 is 12 feet 3 inches shorter. By removing four frames before and three frames behind the wing, it achieves this reduction. The lowered seating reduces emergency exits to six. Having almost the same fuel capacity as the A320-200 with fewer passengers, its range expands to 6,650 kilometers or 6,850 kilometers with Sharklets for 124 passengers in two-class configuration. Propulsion options include four V2522-A5, IAE's 23,040-pound-force and 24,800-pound-force engines, as well as CFM56-5B/A and 27,000-pound-force CFM56-5B7 options, all derated for the A319's reduced maximum takeoff weight. According to The New York Times, ILFC president Steven Udvar-Hazy initiated the development of the A319, with the company eventually placing an order for six by 1993. ILFC remained the launch customer before other customers Swissair and Alitalia prompted Airbus' decision on June 10th. On March 23rd, 1995, assembly began on the first model. The primary Boeing competitor remains the 737-700.
