This model originated from a 3D design crafted within Sketchup 8 before being successfully converted into various other formats. The natively supported format is .skp, while the corresponding 3dsmax scene has been established using 3ds Max 2016 software. It was then rendered using Vray 3.00, all courtesy of AirbusA330's valuable contributions. The smallest yet notable member within the prominent Airbus A320 family, the Airbus A318 is equipped to transport up to a maximum of 132 passengers at any given time and boasts an impressive maximum range of 5,700 kilometers or 3,600 miles, spanning precisely 3,100 nautical miles in total. The aircraft entered service for Frontier Airlines in July 2003 and happens to share a common type rating with every other Airbus A320 family variant as well. Consequently, this makes it possible for already skilled pilots who have previously flown any of the Airbus A320 family aircraft to seamlessly adapt and operate the A318 without needing to undergo additional training sessions. Interestingly, the European Aviation Safety Agency certified the A318 as the largest commercial airplane suitable for steep approach operations in its field, allowing it to operate at airports like London City Airport without issues. Compared to other members of the Airbus A320 family, the A318's sales numbers are notably low, with a total of only 81 orders having been placed up until December 31, 2012.
