Temperature tower & injector
thingiverse
You're ready to put your new filament's temperature range to the test? This temperature tower is perfect for you, fully customizable in every way. Just fire up OpenSCAD and open the temptower.scad file. From there, tweak the properties - width, depth, number of elements, text embossing, whatever you like. Hit render (it'll take some time), then save it as a .STL. Next, pop that .STL into your favorite slicer, keeping layer height consistent at 0.2mm for example's sake. Slice it up and save the G-CODE somewhere new. Now, fire up Python script tempinjector.py with those corresponding parameters: python tempinjector.py tt.gcode tt.modified.gcode 250 -5 5.0. This simple script swaps out old extruder temperatures for some new ones at just the right levels. Just print that modified G-CODE file and you're good to go. Tested and proven with Slic3r and Repetier, too. Print Settings Resolution: 0.2 mm
