Post a make if you make one! :) Board in use ($4 USD shipped roughly): https://www.ebay.com/itm/PWM-4-Wire-Fan-Temperature-Controller-Speed-Governor-for-PC-Fan-Alarm-DC-12V-US/372494832448 On aliexpress.com - https://www.aliexpress.com/af/PWM-fan-controller-dc-board-a23.html The board has two 0.5mm friction "ribs" that securely hold it in place. The lid snaps into position with ease. I'm powering it with an old wall wart using a 5.2mm connector. Socket for the box ($6 for 10 - or maybe one of your maker buddies has one): https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-2Pcs-DC-Power-Supply-Jack-Socket-Female-Panel-Mount-Connector-5-5-x-2-1mmErE/173927130706 I left the settings on the module alone, as they work perfectly for my needs. It spins up around 85F with default settings. The fan runs at 20% when powered and stays there until it reaches 30C or below. Speed increases from 20% to 100% between 30C/86F and 35C/95F in a linear fashion.
