Temp Control On-Off Knob for Audi TT 2001-06

The controls on the Audi TT are quite unique in these model years (2000-2006). The climate control system is off when the button is pulled and ‘on’ when the button is pressed matching the other buttons. So ‘on’ is the default state.This button was broken off but the underlying LED and substructure still existed so I had something to work with.Starting with the provided model attributed above, added the square hole and added some additional internal structure. How to print:Open side downPaint on supportsSmart fillOn overhangs Only(click the internal features but NOT the inside of the button, it will be fine)4. Supports for enforcers only.5. Verify the layers are correct and that the inside of the button is hollow. (image below looking at layer 53)After you print with PLA and test for fit, I recommend:Print with ABSSet your layer height to the minimum (finest resolution) of your printer.After printing wipe it down with Acetone to smooth it out and give it a dull smooth plastic finish. See final images soon!
