I built a boat for my son to play with in the bath, its 5cm length makes me think scaling it up would be a good idea. The print turned out fine, and happily, it floats! To get the best results, I'd suggest printing at least 150% of the original size. If you have any advice or tips on how to improve my designs, I'm all ears - we're just starting out with this whole 3D printing thing and could use some guidance.
