Telrad Holder for AR102

Telrad Holder for AR102

I discovered an existing file and thought what a fantastic concept. I have an AR102 and there's really not enough space to mount a Telrad, so this solution addresses the problem perfectly. I made three modifications to the original file to enable easy installation and removal without taking off the rings. Of course, you could remove that small safety screw, but then it would likely get lost, so I added a channel allowing you to slide it in from behind, over the little screw. I also added a block to the screw side channel of the finderfoot to prevent it from sliding out if the screw loosens up. Finally, I raised it up 8mm to avoid interference with the rings. However, depending on how your scope is mounted, you may need to rotate it slightly to avoid the tightening down screw of the back ring. The fit was snug on my printer without any adjustments and required a little filing to allow the Telrad to seat squarely on the bottom of the cradle. Even without the screw, it isn't moving.
