The Tellermine 42, a German anti-tank mine used extensively during World War II, was a development of the earlier Tm 35 model and ultimately replaced by its successor, the Tm 43. With an estimated production run exceeding 14 million units, only a small fraction - approximately 1.4 million - were deployed in Denmark's Jutland peninsula during the war. The last remaining Tellermine 42 was successfully cleared in 2012, marking a significant milestone in the region's demining efforts.
