this is a remix of a design (wesgentry )someone else made and i needed it to fit my 40hp 2001 johnson outboard it modded it to have the barbed fitting i wanted and i made 2 different size nuts for it. i found the small one perfect but included both just in case. this should work for many johnson and evinrude outboards of many years going back to the 80s easily. and many different horsepowers. i made mine out of carbon fiber nylon (happened to be what was on machine and im lazy).... but honestly asa or abs or petg or even tpu would work.... just not PLA. hopefully this will make someones day. thread engagement was stiff but smooth. if you find it too tight reprint the nut one or two or three percent larger width and it should that work or if too loose make it a few percent smaller. i designed it to work with 0.8mm tip so not sure how smaller tips will work out
