This adjustable hanger consists of five distinct components, including the main hanger unit, extension 1, and extension 2. To complete the design, each component - extension 1 and extension 2 in particular - must be printed twice to ensure a seamless assembly process. The varying diameters of these parts enable them to fit snugly within one another, allowing for a range of adjustable widths: full width (410mm), medium stage (310mm), and minimum width (210mm). This design draws inspiration from telescopes, where adjusting the focal length is crucial for optimal performance. In addition to functionality, aesthetic appeal was a primary consideration in creating this hanger. Each component features protrusions and holes strategically placed to maintain the parts' position at your chosen width setting. The ability to adjust the width makes it incredibly useful when storing or using it for smaller garments. If one part breaks, simply reprinting it is a straightforward solution - an advantage not enjoyed by traditional, single-piece hangers.
