I wanted to create a way to travel with my flag pole for music festivals but not have it be 10ft one piece. So I designed Telescoping rings that fit onto 1.25"/1"/0.5" PVC pipe and allows each subsequent pipe to be stored inside the other and raised up when needed. The bottom bolts of each ring hold the ring to the PVC piping. The top rings are what hold the nested PVC pipe in place when raising and lowering. 1.25" PVC = Ring OD-49mm IDBtm-43mm IDTop-34mm.stl 1" PVC = Ring OD-40mm IDBtm-34mm IDTop-22mm.stl 0.5" PVC = Ring OD-28mm IDBtm-22mm IDTop-13mm The smallest ring was created so that a pole topper could be inserted if desired. No-Tangle flag rings were created to go with the 1/2" pole size.
