You Will Make Your Own Light Sword! Are you ready to create your very own Light Sword? This tutorial will guide you through the process of making a Light Sword using LEDs, transistors, and micro:bit. Follow these steps carefully, and you'll have your own amazing Light Sword in no time. **Step 1: Prepare Your Materials** Gather all the necessary materials before starting: * A micro:bit * LEDs (blue, green, red) * Transistors (MOSFET) * Resistors (68 ohm for the red LED) * Heat shrink tubing * Plastic parts (handle, clip, battery cover, transparent sword) * Wire * Battery and battery holder **Step 2: Solder the LEDs** Solder all the LEDs together inside the printed disk. Make sure to bend the anodes towards the middle and solder them together. **Step 3: Create the Transistor Board** Use MOS transistors as electronic switches to control the LEDs. Link the source to the ground and connect the gate to the micro:bit pins. The drain is connected to the LED pins grouping. **Step 4: Prepare the Batteries System** Strip a wire, roll it up into a coil, and attach it to the minus side of the battery. Do the same for the plus side and hold it in the small battery spring. Solder some tin on it and melt it into the plastic. **Step 5: Assemble Everything** Plug everything together and clip your Light Sword closed! Make sure to refer to the image below for a clear understanding of the assembly process. Your own Light Sword is ready! Use it wisely and have fun creating more amazing projects with micro:bit.
