A fully customizable lightsaber toy lets you 3D print your own unique weapon, giving you complete control over its design and appearance. Choose your allegiance and bring your creation to life with a single click. On November 20th, millions of fans held their breath as the latest Star Wars trailer dropped, revealing an enigmatic Sith Lord strolling through a snowy forest in the highly anticipated movie. As designers, we were intrigued by the new lightsaber configuration showcased in the epic and polarizing scene. As makers, our curiosity got the better of us, and we set out to recreate this "crossguard" design using our collective 3D printing expertise. The Star Wars sequence was shrouded in mystery, with a lack of details about the mysterious sword, leaving ample room for interpretation and imagination. With numerous 3D printable lightsabers already available online, we decided to create one that would stand out from the crowd - a fully customizable model that would allow users to experiment with countless configurations. Our innovative modular system unlocks hundreds of possible designs, ranging from Yoda's iconic hilt to Darth Maul's menacing blade.
