There are two case variants, the "Air" one can be used either with or without a fan and features vent holes, while the "Plain" one is designed for use without a fan and is fully sealed. I utilize a 5-volt, 40x40x10mm fan powered from the same USB line to pull air from the case. As previously stated, you can use either the holed case with or without the fan. If you wish to include the fan, you will need four M3x30mm bolts; otherwise, you will require four M3x16mm bolts as closure hardware. Assembly notes: Before assembling the PCB: -Use a 3mm drill to remove the self-contained support layer from the four main bolt holes on the rear part. -Utilize the same M3 bolts to create threads in the front plastic part. -Use the two original PCB screws to create threaded holes in the PCB support, located at the rear part. -Superglue your chosen 125Adapter to the front part. You have two options for 1.25 inch adapters: The 125AdapterShort measures 20.4mm in length (+7mm of the filter ring= 25.4mm or 1inch). The 125Adapter is 31mm in length (+7mm of the filter ring=38mm), and -Superglue a standard 1.25'' filter ring (without the glass) to the 125Adapter, which can be used as a thread for an easily removable IR cut or color filters. -Please share your results! ----- UPDATES ----- January 14, 2017: The 125AdapterShort was added.
