Telescope Tablet Mount
thingiverse
I own a Celestron Nexstar evolution 8 and use an old tablet to control it, so I created a mount to hold my tablet. I greatly appreciated Jim Audette's design for the tripod portion based on his Celestron NexStar Hand Control Holder for 2" tripod legs, so I scaled it down to my 1.5" tripod leg and attached the tripod mount to that. To make one, print the tripod portion upside down with support for the ledge, print the left and right panels and bond them together using epoxy. I divided the panel into two parts because it was too big for my printer as a single piece. I used PETG for the tripod portion and PLA for the rest. To use this design on another tablet, scale it as needed. I also attached the STEP files.
