Telescope rotation knob
thingiverse
This custom solution is tailored specifically for larger Sky Watcher telescopes, such as the F100 D20 model. As a design intended for mounting with motors or special knobs, its primary function appears incomplete without it. The telescope itself is somewhat tricky to maneuver smoothly by hand alone, and position accurately in space.\nIn my investigation, I found six millimeter metal axes that serve as guidance; using this knowledge, I designed a knob which can be fastened securely in place with an M4 nut and headless screw for extra support.\nTo optimize its performance, print two of these custom knobs to accommodate both rotation types. This setup will allow precise control over your telescope's movement, making it possible to track the celestial bodies of your interest with ease and reach new astronomical heights!
