I built this mount specifically for my telescope to capture stunning images of the eclipse. Paired with a compact kit telescope offering 35x magnification, I was even able to spot sunspots in incredible detail. This adapter employs a novel screw mechanism distinct from my previous design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2477689). It's essentially an inverse of Canon's DSLR lens attaching mechanism. After multiple failed attempts to craft a precise thread with my rotary tool (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2490290), I opted for a screw-on piece that expedited prototyping, as patience was wearing thin. This innovative design requires only 1/3 of a turn to secure, making it effortless to swap out lenses if needed. *Note This custom case is tailored specifically for the Galaxy S7 Edge.
