I wanted to take pictures through my telescope using the Skysafari app, and I needed a way to hold my iPhone steady like a tripod. This holder lets me use my phone with my telescope, and it can be attached to a Telrad finder's mounting bracket. The design combines two existing concepts: a telescope adapter and a camera mount.
