Telescope in-focus adapter for eyepiece
thingiverse
To bring the 1.25 inch eyepiece into sharper focus within a 2 inch diagonal, the telescope needs to come into clearer view. By adjusting the z axis, you can make the device deeper and achieve greater focus. However, be cautious not to make it too deep that it touches the mirror or prism in the diagonal. This adjustment may also allow binoviewers to reach focus or enable the use of lower power settings. The eyepiece itself relies solely on friction to stay in place, so avoid installing it upside down. The top opening measures 47mm. Due to the gap between the eyepiece and the adapter wall, a piece of cardboard was cut out and inserted to reduce rocking motion. Since 1.25 inch eyepieces have slight variations in circumference, the hole was made slightly larger.
